Solomon is a Kit-room Technician and Freelance Videographer with creative experience in commercial and corporate videos. With a diverse range of services tailored to meet various needs, Solomon's portfolio reflects his commitment to delivering high-quality videos, tailored to each client. His creative vision and attention to detail ensure each project results in captivating visual stories that leave a lasting impression.

With a particular interest in Cinematography and Colour Science, Solomon is consistently taking steps to learn new skills and methods to optimise his technical abilities. He currently works at CineArk Ltd, a high-end Kit Room that provides DIT, Video, RF, Bolero, Internet and Lens Encoder technologies to Band 3 productions. This role allows him to develop valuable skills and techniques that directly enhance his freelancing workflows.

DIT
Solomon brings both technical precision and genuine pride to his work in building and maintaining DIT and data carts. He has a solid grasp of everything from trainee-level responsibilities to advanced DIT matrix systems, confidently integrating tools such as Decimator Quad/MD-HX, AJA KUMO and ColorBox, Teradek COLR, BoxIO, and Blackmagic DeckLink systems. He is equally comfortable working within industry-standard software including Pomfort’s LiveGrade and Silverstack.
Through his experience with Flanders Scientific, Solomon has developed a strong eye for monitor calibration and color science, ensuring displays are accurately matched and image reproduction remains consistent and reliable.
Beyond the technical, Solomon genuinely enjoys the craft of cart building. He takes pride in creating setups that are not only robust and efficient, but clean, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. With meticulous cable management and intricate rigging solutions, he builds carts that are as practical as they are polished — always with the DIT’s workflow and comfort in mind.

Solomon is a proficient editor and colourist, with a wide range of knowledge using different software to bring a project your project to life.

With a preference to Davinci Resolve Studio, Solomon can also use AVID Media Composer, AVID Pro-tools, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After-Effects.
